Gift Registry & Honeymoon

We decided not to do a traditional registry because we have plenty of household items. Also, the most important gift to us is you being there to share our special day with us. For those of you who want to give of us a gift, we have set up a Honeymoon Gift Registry to help us save up money for the trip. We thank you in advance for giving us such a memorable wedding present!

We are planning a two-week honeymoon to Europe this Christmas. With us both in school, we have to wait until after the semester. We are so excited to share this amazing adventure together! Locations on the short list: London, Brussels, Bruges, and Amsterdam. We may pair down the cities we visit in order to spend plenty of time exploring each place. This will be the first time for both of us to leave the country.

Use the "Donate" button in the menu bar on the left to give to our honeymoon fund.

Wedding Venue & Location

Our wedding will be held at the Denton Civic Center and garden. Here is a map to the location:

Accomodations & Events in Denton

Following is a list of places to stay in Denton, if you plan to stay in town the night of the Wedding.
Denton has a couple of independent venues to put yourself up in for a night. A bed and breakfast and, from what I hear, a nice independently owned hotel.

Wildwood Inn

Heritage Inns

Other hotels in Denton, TX

FYI - there are a couple of events happening in the area on October 17: UNT's Homecoming and TX/OU weekend.

Heading Photo - river falls

Our heading photo was taken at Pedernales Falls out in the TX hill country. This has got to be one of my favorite places in TX I have visited, yet. Mind you, we haven't been all over this great state yet, but I've been a few places south, east, and a little west....northbound is only OK, so nothing big there...

We took the trip to the hill country where this photo was taken in March of last year during the much hyped South by Southwest music festival that happens in Austin each year where throngs of people descend upon the musical capital for a week of music, booze, and food - it's crazy. So, we go for a couple of days to see some friends and maybe catch a show- then we usually head out of town like the locals do, I'm sure, and retreat to the woods and rivers.
